Marc joined Careers Unlimited in 2011 to strategically market the firm’s leadership brand. Recruiting is in his blood—he’s been around it since age nine, when his mother founded Careers Unlimited.

Marc comes from Fidelity Investments’ Wealth Management division and was previously with Fortune 1000 company APC as Enterprise Manager.

In 2004 he earned an MBA from the University of Rhode Island at Kingston, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Bryant University. Marc also studied at the University of Coimbra, Portugal (founded in 1290 and the 5th oldest university in the world); St. Anselm College; Avon Old Farms School; and Cranston High School East.

Marc lives in Cranston, RI with his wife, Cynthia, and their children, Fatima and Antonio.

Arlette founded Careers Unlimited in 1985 because she believed that recruiting should be based on human resources principles, not sales. With focused determination and a passion for bridging the gap between employers and employees, she built Careers Unlimited into the insurance recruitment leader it is today.

Her human resources experience spans three decades and began at Diversified Financial Corp., where she was 2nd Vice President and edited two publications distributed nationally.

Born in continental Portugal, Arlette emigrated to the United States with her family in 1960 at the age of eight. Her education began in a one-room schoolhouse north of Lisbon. After moving to the U.S., she became fluent in English and an honors student in Rhode Island’s public schools. Before graduating, she was recruited by Gamwell & Ingraham Insurance Agency—laying the foundation for a lifelong path in insurance recruitment.

She is the mother of two adult sons (Marc and Rick) and proud grandmother of Fatima, Antonio, and Ethan.
