10 RULES FOR JOB SUCCESS
 

  1. Always do more than is expected of you. It will come back to you many times over.
     

  2. Remember that things won’t always go smoothly. Glitches, problems, conflicts are part of life and they will be part of your job, too.
     

  3. There is a solution to EVERY problem. Just because you haven’t found a solution yet doesn’t mean there isn’t one.
     

  4. When there is a problem, don’t place blame. Find a remedy.
     

  5. In a conflict, ask yourself, “Am I part of the problem or part of the solution?”
     

  6. Follow the CPR formula: Be Clear, act Professionally and treat people with Respect. In that way, you can expect the same in return.
     

  7. NEVER let anyone attack your integrity and self-respect. These are your most valuable possessions.
     

  8. Dress as if you already have the job that is the next step up.
     

  9. Be at least 15 minutes early.
     

  10. Stay 15-30 minutes late.
